Further Information Edit

CaptainSparklez gained most of his subscribers during YouTube’s introduction of YouTube Gaming, where it auto-subscribed new members to CaptainSparklez if they were interested in the Gaming Section.

He is most known for playing Minecraft, though he also posts gameplay of other games such as Happy Wheels, Left 4 Dead 2, Portal, Trials Evolution, Garry’s Mod, Call of Duty and He is also known for creating Minecraft music video parodies. These parodies are all sung by TryHardNinja, and include TNT with over 99 million views, Revenge with over 169 million views, (taken down because of copyright claims, but was eventually reposted) Fallen Kingdom with over 113 million views, and Minecraft Style with over 16 million views. (The video for "Minecraft Style" was unfortunately taken down due to copyright claims by Sony and Universal, but Sparklez re-uploaded it with edited instrumentals on July 27, 2013. It never regained its original popularity of 50 million views.) Other original (non-parody) Minecraft music videos include Take Back the Night (the sequel to Fallen Kingdom) with over 125 million views, Find the Pieces (part 3 in the Fallen Kingdom series) with over 33 million views, and Dragonhearted (part 4) with over 21 million views.

Jordan occasionally posts videos with his friend Nick (NFENvids) and other YouTubers; Nick mostly does Trials Fusion videos and is responsible for editing Jordan's videos. He was the 35th most subscribed person on YouTube after reaching 7,000,000 subscribers. His channel is currently the 101st-most-subscribed on YouTube, with 9-10 million subs. After Jordan competed with his friend Tom's channel "TheSyndicateProject" to have more subscribers, CaptainSparklez finally surpassed him with about 50,000 more subscribers than TheSyndicateProject, although Tom now mainly focuses on vlogging on a different channel. Jordan hit 10 million subscribers on July 29, 2017, however due to a YouTube "sub purge" the number dropped back down below 10 million 4 days later. He hit 10 million for the second time soon after. He joined Twitch on (12-9-2010) and by 2017 he had exceeded 1.2 million followers ( Stats). Though his channel is in the top 10 most-followed on Twitch, he no longer streams on, but uses Youtube Live instead. He was the second person in history to reach 1 million subscribers on, after Tom "TheSyndicateProject" Cassell.
